Lose Weight and Trim your Tummy With the Help of a Food Diary

I've been hearing a lot about this from the news. It has been reported recently that lots of people are making their own food diary to help them lose weight and it has been producing excellent results. Experts say that you have higher chances of losing weight when you keep your own diary. I did try this out for myself and I was able to keep myself motivated into losing weight especially the tummy area even though I don't like keeping diet records.
At first, I thought it can only work for a few people but a study has been actually done for this. There were 1,500 participants involved in the study and those who wrote down what they have eaten lose more weight than those who didn't. A simple way to explain it's effectiveness is, having a food diary keeps you conscious on what you do and what you eat which increases your focus into losing weight. Now that's something to get yourself enthusiastic about making your own food diary.
Making your own Food Diary is quite simple, you don't need to add any complicated mumbo jumbo stuff even though you can if you want to. If you're already on a diet this would be easier for you, all you have to do is write down all the food you take for the whole day. Put it either in a notebook or a diary. Do this everyday, so you can track everything you are doing in your diet. Also write down every progress you make on your diet so you can keep yourself motivated on your personal fitness. From time to time you can read up your past diet records so can see how far you've progressed.
